The chart below details Fender serial number schemes used from 1965 to 1976.the warning labels. An older amps’ serial number will typically be placed on the right side of the chassis. Fender serial numbers preceded by an 'L': Fender guitars made between 19 have a letter 'L' preceding the serial number. A Fender amplifier‘s model name and serial number are typically labeled.
